Empowering Red – Be a Woman Who Succeeds in Every Way

Hear me out ― you have a date and can’t find anything sexy in the closet. You don’t have a little black number that will make you stand out. You keep digging and reach the back of your closet. Oh no, these are the dresses you avoid wearing because they aren’t just your time anymore. You grab the first thing that touches your hand and pull it. It’s a red floral dress with a flare that reaches your knees. It’s cute and is flattering to your complexion. You suddenly find yourself eager to wear the dress and get ready. While slipping your hands through the sleeves, you get this heady rush. Every part of your being fills with confidence. Your walk changes, and you feel as if you can conquer the world.

That power you feel coursing through your veins is called “Red.” According to a study, red is the most passionate color and can make you feel dozens of emotions at a time such as romance, love, desire, arrogance, anger, and power. You just have to channel the right one and use it to your advantage.

Why Leaders Should Wear Red

Did you know? During the era of Tudor, Henry VIII created a code according to which red-colored clothes could only be worn by people who ranked higher than the knights. If someone else in the kingdom was found wearing red, they would be heavily fined.

In yesteryears, ancient Egyptians believed that red color on lips was the sexiest thing worn by women. In current times, red is socially acceptable and for a number of reasons.

According to a study conducted by psychologists Daniela Niesta and Andrew Elliot, men find women more attractive in red, and vice versa.

Now that you know how the color red can change your life, my question to you is what are the ways you can use it to your advantage:

It Can Help You in Conquering Fear

A red dress for the office can be a bit too much. If you are afraid you won’t be able to go through a meeting without getting stuck, wear some red shoes. A red pair of shoes will allow you to pace with power and take questions in stride instead of seeing them as attacks to dodge and deflect.

For the Love of Love

Yes, red has different meanings, but when it comes to love, there’s a reason why red roses and red gifts are given on Valentine’s Day. All things red represent love. So, if you are planning to take the lead and propose to your special someone, I suggest that you go all fiery red.

You Are Valued More

  • Want someone to take you seriously?

  • Want to give your beloved the hint that you are ready to take your relationship to the next level?

  • Want all eyes on you to be in a meeting?

You can achieve all this by simply wearing red. Red draws attention; so, go all out to give yourself an edge.

Red is not superficial. It attracts men and is great at confidence building. It adds fulfillment to your life and can be used as motivation. So, search your closet and put everything in red in the front.
